Rangers/Jets:

On Thursday we saw the New York Rangers announce a surrender statement. However, on Friday we saw them fly out of the gates with 20 first period shots against the Flames, en route to a 4-3 regulation win over them. Lundqvist was not going to allow this to rebuild to happen without his consent, and he certainly did his part.

The Winnipeg Jets will be looking to rebound from a rare home loss, as they are now 20-4-2 at the MTS Centre following the 5-2 loss to St. Louis. They will face an aggressive puck moving team that does not take much time with possessions and perimeter shots.

The Rangers are a scary team to face at the moment for these reasons: First off, they took a step towards gaining some traction the other way after Fridays win. Second, they have nothing to lose after making that team statement. The players will be able to operate naturally and with no regard for pressure, while Winnipeg may be the one who is a little stunned after a blowout loss at home for the first time in a while.
